Seaport Charters was formed by proud Tasmanians, John and Margaret Randall, who firmly believe the Tamar River and its scenic valley to be the ideal situation to showcase the Tasmanian experience to both visitor and local.

The Randall family have successfully operated a road transport business for decades in Tasmania with meticulous standards, convinced that industry excellence is the key to success.

The Seaport Charters staff has a long-life association with the Tamar River and boating, but are also hospitality professionals with a strong customer service focus.

After the completion of the Old Launceston Seaport, an unprecedented opportunity existed for a cruise-boat operation to complement this hospitality focused precinct.

The concept for Seaport Charters was created from public demand wanting a large capacity vessel which is available for private functions any time.

Catering options needed also to be totally flexible, letting the guest decide which level will best suit their occasion.
